The cosiest pub. Wonderful friendly atmosphere, the gentleman behind the bar is a delight. Good food. Amazing range of gin. Would definitely recommend!
One of the best pubs that I've ever been fortunate enough to visit. The landlord is friendly, (amazingly so, it's really remarkable) the staff are all friendly, the decor is brilliant.Food follows this pattern and is reasonably priced, but great quality. Seriously, if you have the opportunity, visit this pub!(We frequently travel to Tavistock just to visit the pub)

Only had drink there but lovely little pub.
We went into the pub today as a group of 14 (11 adults and 3 children). One of us went in first to see if there was space for us all. We then sat on two separate tables. We started to look at the menu and one person said that they were going to order a jacket potato. The landlord then grumpily said that we couldnt all have jacket potatoes as they only had a small kitchen. At no point did we say we all wanted them! He then rudely said that they werent the kind of place that served cheesey chips, again no one had mentioned cheesey chips! We were going to order from the menu and all have a drink. We decided to go somewhere else instead so the pub lost out on what would have been about 150. At a time when small businesses are crying out for business and complaining that chains are taking over, this place did itself no favours. Instead, we went to Warrens where we were treated with respect. I think you need to improve your customer service skills and remember to treat your potential customers with respect.
