Best steak and stilton pie - in the world ! It's an hour and a half drive for us to get there but worth every minute for the pie ! Go, you will love it.

Lovely friendly pub on the edge of the moor. The pie was excellent with generous portions and those who could fit in a dessert really enjoyed them.
Always a warm welcome here. Arrive early and you can get in the car park. Menu is quite varied and has some good staple dishes on it. I heartily recommend you try the steak and stilton pie!
Make sure you book! The food is superb - a wide selection of classic pub food, and it's absolutely delicious!! The steak and Stilton pie and the pork apple and brie were both exquisite!
