We had a pod, twas warm, comfortable and an enjoyable experience, good onsite services, pleasant staff, made us welcome. Nearby pub called the Copper Penny, their home cooked food is a delight. Tavistock not far away, Dartmoor is on the doorstep. (As is Cornwall) Excellent park to stay.
Beautiful part of the world...best site ever. We've been going there for nearly 20 years and can't recommend it highly enough. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Site is small and tranquil...love it!
My daughter, her husband, my grandson and I are just back from a week at Woodovis and it was perfect. We used the hot tub and the sauna which was really lovely. I didn't use the pool as I can't swim but i enjoyed taking my golden lab down to the exercise field where I met other dog owners and we had a chat while the dogs were running around chasing each other. The staff are so helpful and the park is so quiet, so if peace and nature is what you desire, then go to Woodovis - you won't be disappointed. They have lovely camping areas, gorgeous caravans and a lovely wood to walk through.
Stay there for a week kids loved it never have I stayed in such a clean campsite actives everyday but not cheap. The hog roast was to die for worth the money and the Mexican very taste but not a lot for your money. The static caravan was lovely the stuff so helpful and just so nice. Such a relaxing atmosphere. I would stay here again
