I can't comment on the state of the campsite itself due to having to cancel because of a family medical emergency. I am writing this because when I called up to cancel and explained the situation I was met with a woman with an attitude problem. She was rude and had absolutely no sympathy at all at our time of need. Fair enough I should have read the terms and conditions but in all honestly I wasn't aware that we would have a phone call with some really bad news this morning. The site could have met us halfway by refunding half of the money as a good will gesture. We will never be rebooking with these people. Especially when we have basically just paid 70 for a woman to be rude and non sympathetic.
Very friendly hosts, excelant facilities. Only spent one night but we will definitely return.
Campsite seemed nice, only downside there wasn't enough toilets, especially for the men as it only had 1 toilet & 2 urinals. They request you mop the floor after showering, but the mop & water didn't look that clean. Showers were lovely & warm.
Amazing place to stay really enjoyed every moment and will definately return. Set in the heart of the tamar valley means that there is plenty to do for all the family. Lovely walks and views around. The campsite has lovely pitches some of which are private meaning they are hedged all the way around. Others are just standard pitches but very well kept. The showers and toilet facilities are a little disappointing with only 2 showed for male and female and one disable shower and toilet. The owners are some of the nicest people on earth and will help you with anything. I really recommend this place highly and defiantly will come back.
