Took 2 x 13 year olds there for the main tree surfing course, thought 24 each was a bit steep, however, once they had done the 3 sections I had completely changed my mind, it was excellent, car park is 2.40 for the whole day, not just 2 hours at a time now. The cafe was popular with nice looking cakes and drinks, instructor was good, had to help a couple of times. Very good, an excellent birthday treat.
We were a group of six with two girls ages 12 and 14, and we truly had no idea what to expect from TreeSurfing experience. When we got to the park we received all the equipment and had a very brief instructions' session on how to use it while navigating between tree tops! At first we were so frightened by the hight and challenges set out, that none of us believed we would finish all three challenges. Yet, it was such an intense feeling of achievement and satisfaction that we not only completed all the challenges but also went for a few jumps on the zipline, which was amazing! The only comment would be to take your time to familiarise with the equipment and ask the instructor to either come with you to help with the tricky parts or ask them to map out the challenges for you so you are more prepared to cope with them.
Great adventure for grandchildren aged 11 and 8. A bit pricey at 18 per hour plus a parking charge. The instructors were excellent, as was the safety.
Amazing experience. The staff were friendly and encouraging. They dealt so well with those in our group that got anxious. The whole day was fantastically run and is something I would highly recommend. We went as a company team day and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We walked round to tree surfers for a fun day out to be told that it is only open on weekends. The website doesn't say this at all and luckily we didn't book and pay for anything. The Google Times of opening and closing are for the tiny cafe there so ignore them if your looking to go to the tree surfers. You also get caught for parking, you can only pay for 2 hours at a time.
