Didnt measure my sons feet correctly

Fantastic range of shoes for men, women, and kids. Lovely, helpful staff.

I have been buying clothes from this store for the past 2.5 years and in general the staff have been very polite, the quality of goods is okay, the pricing however is where I have a major issue with Shoe King. Bizarrely many items have three prices on them, the highest price in big bold numbers is the RRP, the next smaller price is the sale price, but often there is an even lower price written in small red pen at the bottom of the label indicating a further reduction in price, this is the one which customers obviously take as the current price of the garment. However, the last three times my wife and I have gone into the shop, the assistant has entered the middle price, a simple mistake maybe? I think not and here's why; the assistants ring up the middle price before removing the tag and throwing it in a pot with many other tags, why do they not leave the price tag on the garment? Considering they are the one's who write the lowest price in red biro on the price tag, how could they possibly miss the lowest price? Now, here comes the real issue, each time we have noticed this happen, we have brought it immediately to their attention, by which point they have conveniently thrown the tag into the pot of hundreds of tags, again, why remove the tag...removes the proof that the garment was at the lower price? By challenging them, they initially imply that they possibly couldn't have made a mistake and that going through the pot is a pain, but each time they have given in without much of a fight and let us have it at the lower price, almost as a good will gesture. This scenario has arisen too often to be a coincidence in my opinion, and each time this mistake goes unnoticed they stand to profit a few pounds, so just be aware! Whilst I don't have a personal dislike for the store or any of the staff, I do feel as a consumer that this unacceptable practice should be brought to the attention of the members of the public and any prospective customers and Shoe King should review their pricing strategy.
