It is such a shame. Today we have visited Tavistock pool and found that not only the pool area has lost its outdoor slides but the lovely big viewing area and cafe is all closed in now. The place feels enclosed and stuffy even today. The small pool even has part of it closed for a large lane swim also. It's a real shame as unfortunately now it has lost any future visits for my family not only in the pool but the cafe too. How utterly disappointing for my sons.
Fabulous environment for my 7 year old and teaching him to scoot! We love Tavvy Park!
A nice park with the River Tavy running along one side and a canal along another. It has lots of open grass areas, a band stand, a play area with swings, slides, climbing nets, a zipline and more and there is also a nearby skate park. There is a small shop that sells drinks and ice creams but the opening times seem a bit hit and miss.

Really lovely place to visit in the summer. The kids love it! The new park improvements are going to be great. Short walk Into the town to grab yourself some lunch Or you have the option of the ice cream shack which I believe takes card which of course is a life saver these days.
